In the fall of 2000, four members of the Chippewa Valley Symphony in Eau Claire, Wisconsin met for the purpose of playing chamber music for their own entertainment. This gathering evolved into what is now the Chippewa Valley String Quartet. All the members are professional performers with many years of experience.

The Chippewa Valley String Quartet is available for performances at: weddings, clubs, private parties, corporate functions, festivals, community events, conventions, coffee shops, hotels, church services, restaurants, resorts, reunions, country clubs, birthday parties, award nights, graduations, anniversaries, dinner dances, showers, picnics, Christmas parties, or any other occasion that people want to hear entertaining music.

Music selections range in style from baroque composers such as Bach and Handel, to classical composers such as Mozart and Haydn, to romantic composers such as Beethoven and Brahms. The quartet also performs lighter and more contemporary selections by composers such as the Beatles and Andrew Loyd Webber.
